About Connestee Fire Rescue Auxiliary, Inc

1. Financially Support the Connestee Fire Rescue Inc. which services the following communities within the fire district:

• Big Hill - Big Branch
• Connestee Falls 
• Dunn's Rock 
• Eagle Lake
• East Fork
• See Off Mountain
• Sequoyah Woods
• Sherwood Forest 
• Slick Rock
• Walnut Hollow 
• Whiskey Creek
• All other residents in the fire district

2.  Maintain  a working relationship between the Auxiliary and Connestee Fire Rescue Inc.

3.  Extend support to members of Connestee Fire Rescue, Inc. and their families during times of crisis and distress.

In 1978, the CFR Auxiliary was organized by a group of non-fire department community volunteers. These volunteers provided financial and organizational support, and outreach to the residents within the fire District. The fire fighters and the Auxiliary worked together to build the foundation for today. 

Over a 40 year period the CFR Auxiliary has raised more than $1,000,000 to supplement the baseline budget provided through fire district taxes. These donations from the Auxiliary provide resources for enhanced training and additional equipment required for first-class service to the residents of the fire district.

The Connestee Fire Rescue Auxiliary, Inc is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
