Welcome to Connestee Fire & Rescue Auxiliary   Brevard, North Carolina

The Connestee Fire and Rescue District occupies about 26,000 acres serving property owners & visitors of the 276 South Corridor from Rock Brook Camp to the Cedar Mountain Post Office.  It operates the East Fork and Walnut Hollow Stations and encompasses diverse wilderness landscapes, thriving outdoor recreation areas and more than 3,000 structures and includes the following communities:

Beyond the ordinary

CFR  responds to about 750 calls annually, normally about  45% are medical emergencies.  Skilled medical technicians provide lifesaving and comfort measures until an ambulance, if needed, arrives from County EMS.  Other calls address structural and woodland fire suppression, search and rescue opertions, roadside calamities and other urban and remote enforcement services.
